Yogurt delight

Do you just bother to continuously eat sweet cakes and cookies at your evening tea table? Or want to search for a different taste after a heavy lunch or dinner? Craving something sour? Because sour foods stimulate salivary glands and your tongue responds to this. Today I will share with you a sweet and sour dish called “Yogurt delight”.


Ingredients:

  • Flour: 2 cups

  • Yogurt: 1.5 cups

  • White vinegar: 1 tablespoon

  • Sugar: 1.5 cups

  • Baking powder: 1 teaspoon

  • Baking soda: ½ teaspoon

  • Oil: ½ cup

  • Salt: ⅓ teaspoon

  • Cinnamon powder: ½ teaspoon(optional)



How to cook:

  • Preheat your oven for 10 minutes.

  • Take a bowl. Mix yogurt with sugar, white vinegar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon powder, and oil.

  • Sheave the flour and mix with the previous mixture.

  • Grease the baking tray with oil. Keep there a parchment sheet.

  • Pour the mixture into the tray and bake it 180 degrees C for 40 minutes.

  • Remove the tray from the oven. Keep it cool. Yogurt delight is ready for grab.


Key points: The texture of the yogurt delight is sticky, not fluffy like a cake. So don’t worry.


Preheat time: 10 minutes.


Baking time: 40 minutes.
