Spicy cauliflower with legume

You may bore to eat cauliflower vegetables, cauliflower roast, fried cauliflower, and many. Looking for something new to increase your appetite?

According to science, if you add spice to your food it can provide an added health benefit. Today I will share with you a sumptuous vegetable curry “ spicy cauliflower with legume” which will increase your taste buds. It is really a delicious recipe, that I got from my mother.


Ingredients:

  • Cauliflower: 1 piece

  • Legume: 2 cups

  • Onion slice: 2 cups

  • Garlic slice: 1 tablespoon

  • Green chili: 6 pieces

  • Turmeric powder: 1/5 teaspoon

  • Cumin powder: 1 teaspoon

  • Oil: 1 cup

  • Coriander slice: 1 cup

  • Sugar: ⅓ teaspoon



How to cook:

  • Heat the oil in a large deep pan.

  • Cook the onion and garlic slices for 5 minutes until they are soft.

  • Add cauliflower, legumes, and salt. Stir it for 5 minutes.

  • Cover it with a lid in a medium flame for 20 minutes.

  • Turn off the cover. Add cumin powder, chilis, sugar and stir it for 2 minutes.

  • Sprinkle the coriander slices and keep the meal in a serving dish.


Cooking time: 32 minutes.


How many people can eat: 4 to 5 people.



Health benefits: Cauliflower contains many nutrients, high in fiber. It is a good source of antioxidants. Legumes have beneficial effects on gut health and are a good source of protein.
