Do you search for something new that provides your taste buds with a stunning experience? Not only for you but also you surprise your guest by serving a unique dessert. Today I will share with you an authentic sweet dish that ornaments your snack time or dinner table. This is called coconut-jaggery delight.

Ingredients:

  • Shredded coconut: 4 cups

  • Jaggery: 3 cups

  • Cinnamon: 2 medium pieces

  • Cardamom: 6 or 7 pieces

How to cook:

  • Take a saucepan. Pour the jaggery and stir it for 5 minutes.

  • Then add the shredded coconut, cinnamons, and cardamoms.

  • Stir it for 20 minutes.

  • If you see that the coconut mix becomes a sticky texture, then your dish is ready. Serve it in a little bowl.

  • If you wish to give the texture to the cookie shape then stir it for 10 to 15 minutes continuously. Then pour this on the tray. Take one hour for cooling. Finally, you will cut down to your desired shape.

cooking time: 40 minutes

Health benefits:

  • You feel wonderful to know that coconut is rich in fiber. Research suggests that coconut serves lots of nutrients such as iron, manganese. It also contains vitamins A, D, E.

  • Here I use jaggery instead of sugar. So you will get more benefits because your dessert contains low calories. Jaggery is a good source of sweetness. It is not too harmful as sugar. Jaggery is packed with antioxidants. It fights skin aging properties. It also contains calcium, zinc, magnesium, and iron.

For this, you can easily consume this dessert. If you eat this with bread then you will apply it to your breakfast table. This dessert shows a chocolate-like output, so it also serves an eye-catching image.
