Today I will share with you a delicious recipe that tastes sour and sweet. It also helps to increase your taste buds in a positive way.


Here I will serve you the recipe for chicken tamarind fiesta. I include this recipe into the group of fiesta because when you grab this you really are prone to a foodie fiesta. So let's start.


Ingredients:


  • Chicken: 1 Kg

  • Chopped onion: 3 cups

  • Chopped Garlic: 2 tablespoons

  • Ginger slice: 2 tablespoons

  • Red chili powder: 1 teaspoon

  • Salt: as you required

  • Cashew nut paste: 2 tablespoons

  • Almond paste: 2 tablespoon

  • Tamarind paste: 2 tablespoons

  • Green chili: 8 or 9 pieces

  • Oil: 2 cups

  • Sugar: 1 tablespoon



How to cook:


  • Take a bowl, then marinate the chicken with salt and red chili powder. Keep it for 10 minutes.

  • Take a pan, pour 1 cup of oil, and heat it.

  • Pour the chicken into the oil and do semi fry. Keep the semi-fried chicken in the bowl.

  • Now pour the chopped onion into the oil and stir it. When the color becomes brown then keep it on a plate.

  • Pour the rest of the oil into the pan. Add the garlic and ginger. Stir it for 5 minutes.

  • Now add the chicken and stir it for 5 minutes.

  • Pour the adequate water for boiling. Cover it with a lid.

  • After 20 minutes add the fried onion and green chilis. At this time you may add extra salt if needed.

  • Cook it for another 15 minutes. Check the chicken. If it becomes soft and gravy, turn off the burner.

How to make tamarind paste:


Ingredients:


  • Raw tamarinds: 1 cup

  • Water: ⅓ cup


Prepare:

  • Keep the mixture overnight in the freezer or keep it at normal temperature for half an hour.

  • Strain it and you will get the pure tamarind paste for cooking.


Prep time: 10 minutes


Cooking time: 45 minutes


How many people eat: 4 people.
