Baked chicken curry

Search for an easy and quick recipe after your hectic working schedule? It is not healthy to take out your daily dinner from a restaurant. It is costly too. Now I will share with you a one-pan meal that is packed with chicken as well as various vegetables. There is no hassle to burn your stove. It is a baked recipe, so you will get an easy and short recipe for serving a delicious and nutritious meal for your family. Let’s start:


Ingredients:


  • Chicken(cut in normal pieces): 1 kilogram

  • Potatoes: large for pieces(cut in medium size in square or round shape)

  • Green peas(optional): 1 cup

  • Onion slice: 1 cup

  • Garlic slice: 1 cup

  • Red chili powder: 1 tablespoon

  • Green chili: 7 or 8 pieces

  • Cinnamon powder: 1 teaspoon

  • Oil: 2 cups



Method of cooking:


  • Marinate the chicken with all ingredients for 30 minutes (if you do it before night and keep it in the refrigerator, you will get the juicy texture). By doing this you may save some time from your busy schedule. Remember you must keep the marinated chicken at normal temperature before it is set into the oven for baking.

  • After marinating the chicken or keeping the chicken at room temperature, then you cut the potatoes.

  • Take a pan and pour adequate water and boil the potato for 5 minutes. Do not boil the potatoes fully, you just boil the potatoes only to get the smooth texture of the potatoes. Otherwise, you may not get the softness.

  • Preheat the oven to 200deegree C.

  • Take a baking tray. Cover the marinated chicken and potatoes.

  • Keep the tray in the oven for 25 minutes. After 25 minutes, you will check the softness of the chicken. If you need, add salt to green chili.

  • Put the tray again into the oven for 20 minutes.

  • Your delicious meal is ready.



Prep time: 30 minutes.


Baking time: 50 minutes.
