"Bitter melon" stir fry

If you follow my recipe you truly enjoy a tasty dish. In my childhood, I did not like it for its bitter taste, but my gramma's neighbor has given this tasty recipe to my mom. Its amazing taste really made me happy.
Bitter melon originated in Africa where it was a dry season staple food. It is available year-round from the U.S. and Mexico. Bitter melon grows best in tropical regions like the Caribbean, Africa, Southeast Asia, China, etc.

Ingredients:
Bitter Melon: 500 gm
Chopped onion: 2 cups
Oil: 3 tablespoons
Salt: ⅕ teaspoon
Green chili: 5 or 6 pieces
Sugar: 1 teaspoon(optional)
Water: 2 tablespoons
How to cook:
Heat a pan in a medium flame and add oil.
Pour the onion and bitter melon. Then stir it for 1 minute.
Spread the water and keep it for 15 minutes.
Add the salt, sugar, and green chilis. Finally, stir it for 1 minute. Your curry is ready to eat.

How many people eat: 4 People
Cooking time: 17 minutes
Health benefits: It is rich in vitamin c and increases your appetite. It can manage your blood sugar level. It increase your appetite and also digestive.
You can serve it with white rice or bread.
