Spicy gravy egg

If you search the spicy egg recipes, I know that you will get varieties of egg recipes. But today I will share with you a very common Bangladeshi spicy egg recipe. Many Bangladeshi people like to cook it if a guest comes to your home suddenly. Bangladeshi people chose the recipe to cook it in that situation because it is a short time cooking recipe as well as tasty. We apply the common Bangladeshi spices to prepare it.

Is there anyone who does not like eggs? It is very common at our breakfast table, or lunch or grabbing dinner time. There are many ways to cook eggs in different ways. You simply eat to boil it, or make cheese omelet or poach. Today I will share with you a gravy process that you can grab with bread or rice. It can add more value to your dinner table. Let’s start:



Ingredients:

  • Eggs: 10 pieces

  • Onion slice: 3 cups

  • Chili powder: ½ teaspoon

  • Turmeric powder: ½ teaspoon

  • Salt: As you required

  • Green chili: 5 or 6 pieces( optional)

  • Sugar: ⅓ teaspoon

  • Oil: ½ cup

  • Water: 2 cups


How to cook:

  • Boil the eggs for 10 minutes. Let it be cool. Then peel the eggshells.

  • Pan-fry the eggs for 3 minutes. Keep the eggs on a plate.

  • Keep a pan on your burner. Pour oil. Let it heats.

  • Pour the onion slices. Stir it until the color becomes light brown.

  • Add salt, sugar, chili powder, and stir it for 2 minutes.

  • Put the fried eggs on the spices, add water.

  • After 5 minutes when the curry looks a gravy texture then pour the green chilis.

  • Your spicy gravy egg is ready to serve.


Health benefits: Eggs contain a large amount of protein. When you cook it with various spices it enhances your taste buds. So enjoy your meal.


Cooking time: 20 minutes(approximately).


You can easily carry it in your lunch box and enjoy your lunch with a pack of protein.
